Nippon thru’ Moi Eyes

13th October 2009 – On ANA Flight and @ Narita Airport

On the plane. The flight is landing soon. It is a night flight. Even though, we have not had a good sleep on the plane, we were very excited for the trip and thus, the energetic look in the photo above. Lol.

Meji Ice Coffee from the 便利でん@Narita Airport. We were waiting for the Tour Bus to come and fetch us. Our Tour Guide is Danny and he is a nice and funny Singaporean. :)

13th October 2009 - Asakusa Kannon Temple

Our first stop is Asakusa Kannon Temple. We have alighted the bus and walking towards the temple. We walked pass this super cool Ice Cream Vending Machine. Oh well. Vending machine is common in 日本.

The rows and rows of lantern at the Temple. I love them. It is pretty.

Drawing a lot at the temple. I have to put in 100 円 before I can draw my lots.

Yeah ~ I drew a bad lot. ばか. Therefore, I have to tie the unlucky lot here so that it signifies that I have left my bad luck here and bring the good luck with me back home.

The famous big red lantern of Asakusa Temple. I really like this place. Even though I am a Catholic, I love to visit shrines and temples in Japan. Maybe because of the architecture and the feel of it. :)

 Nice architecture. :)

13th October  2009 – Nakamise Avenue

Time to look at some souvenirs at Nakamise Avenue which is just next to Asakusa Kannon Temple.

The street with rows of shops selling 可愛いお土産.

The famous 人形焼 from Nakamise Avenue. Have to buy 1 to try! :)

1 of my 第一 things to do in Japan is to eat ice cream! The ice cream is so fabulous. I am currently eating the Honeydew flavour one. There is bits of honeydew in it. Yummy Yum Yum! And the おばさん is 超親切な. She volunteered to take photo for us in front of her shop because we love the 3D ice cream stand. LOL.

13th October 2009 – 昼ご飯 and Tokyo Bay

1st lunch in 日本. It is a buffet lunch and most of it is Chinese Food. Frankly speaking, I was disappointed with the food. Hur hur.

After lunch, we went to walk around the shopping area since it is still early. This mini car is so 可愛いな.

Tokyo Bay. Pretty? I thought this feels like Singapore. Haha. Why is my face so bloated arh? Lol.

13th October 2009 – Odaiba – Venus Fort & Toyota Showroom

Inside of Venus Fort. 綺麗な. It as if I am in some European Countries. Lol.

Another shot. We wanted to go to the Burberry Shop to look at the blue labels. But we are too lucky as the shop is close for a week for renovation. Haha.

In the Toyota Showroom. The cars are free for us to sit in and experience the feel of it. It is my first time sitting in the driver seat. ちょっと恐いな. :)

13th October 2009 – Chilling @ Odaiba and Nail Prints

There is nothing much to shop at Odaiba since the burberry shop is not open. We thus settled down at a bench outside to enjoy Jelly Drinks from the Vending Machine and  the 人形焼 from Nakamise Avenue.  I bought Orange Flavour and Hui Ping bought Coffee Flavour. The Jelly is in 1 大きいピス. We have to shake it before drinking. 美味しいな.

Pineapple and Red Bean Flavor 人形焼.

Too bored already. We ended up taking Nail Prints. It was damn fun. We tried to act cute in all the photos. Lol. It is the 1st Nail Print I took in 日本 and also the 1st Nail Print I took in ages. The machine is also very good. It will photoshop the Nail Prints before printing. :)

13th October 2009 – 晩御飯 and Flight to Osaka

Hui Ping’s 醤油ら面.

Mine! 味噌ら面. The noodles is nice. Very Q. But the soup base is a bit salty though. I heard that 日本人don’t drink the soup. Therefore, the soup is meant to be salty so that the noodles can be more tasty.

Hui Ping and Moi on the ANA Domestic Flight to Osaka. A tiring day. Our hair look so messy. Lol.

Our hotel room in Osaka. It is a very small but cozy and comfortable room. The end of Day 1. Good Night! :)

14th October 2009 – Osaka Castle

We are at the Osaka Castle. 綺麗な. Too bad, we need to pay entrance fee in order to go in. If not, I suppose it would be quite a nice experience to go in and take a look. Hehe.

Not too sure what is this call. However, I do see alot of it in many places. It is sort of a cleansing water to cleanse your hand and mouth. Suppose to wash off all bad luck and dirty stuffs.

I saw 3D ice cream stand again! And this time there are 2! Of cos, I have to take photo with them. Haha.

Me having the chestnut flavour ice cream. Yummy! It is a little too sweet but overall, the taste is still 美味しいね. The texture of the cream is very soft. I like it.

14th October 2009 – Shopping @ Shinsaibashi

Waiting to cross the road. This is Shinsaibashi. It is a famous shopping area in Osaka.

The sheltered area for shopping. Row of shops. It is still early and thus, quite a pity that alot of shops are still not open. However, I already had a great time shopping at the 薬店 (a drug store like our Watson). It sells alot of girls stuff and it is so much nicer to shop at as compared to Singapore’s drug store. Like seriously! :)

14th October 2009 – Shinkansen and 昼ご飯

新幹線の電車男の子. He is a とても可愛い ah boy. Lol.

Hui Ping and me on board of the Shinkansen. It is moving already. The boarding time is only 1 minute. So I had to jump into the Shinkansen before I missed it. Haha.

The view from Shinkansen. I can still manage to take a photo that is not blurred even though the Shinkansen is moving at a high speed. Yes. That is the wonder of Shinkansen. I could not even feel the speed while on board. Weird. >.<

My lunch. Mac Burger. Ebi Burger. This is not found in Singapore and it is highly recommended by me to try if you go Japan. The ebi is not minced ebi. It is 1 whole body of Ebi and there are many of it. The moment I bite onto the burger is memorable. I was so fascinated by how yummy it was as compared to its very normal appearance. Drool.

14th October 2009 – Kyoto – Kiyomizu Temple

Kiyomizu Temple. This is one of the other place that I love. This is the first place that we visit upon reaching Kyoto. :)

Our wishes for the year and the next. Writing in Chinese is so difficult! Not that my chinese is bad, but just that it has been so long since I wrote anything in Chinese. Hehe.

After writing the wishes, we will hang it here outside the temple. I often watch this on TV and I have finally experience it personally. I am happy.

I met this 3 超可愛い犬! Blue is the お父さん, Pink is the お祖母さん and Black is the 子供!

The Big Dong at the temple. :)

Yummy Sesame Ice Cream. Danny recommended this to us as this is famous in this street. My 2nd ice cream of the day. How sinful is that! Haha.

14th October 2009 - たこ焼 on the journey to Kanazawa

たこ焼ね!6 for 400円. It is considered expensive as 400円 is about $6. Therefore, 1 for $1. But it was worth it. The たこ焼は大きいと美味しいよ.

Hui Ping and the Vending Machine born coffee. :)

I am enjoying the Takoyaki. Hehe.

14th October 2009 - Dinner in Kanazawa Hotel

Yummy Dinner. The 甘エビand crab is super fresh and sweet. It was a fabulous dinner. Love it. ^.^

Hui Ping and Moi at the dinner table. We cannot wait to zoom down onto the food. :)

14th October 2009 - Chilling with Kirin in Hotel

This is the first time I tried Japanese Beer and I really love it. It does not taste bitter. It tasted refreshing instead. I miss Kirin. Hehe.

Us in our Yukata provided by the Hotel savouring Asahi and Kirin with snacks on the bed. あ~気持ちね!

15th October 2009 – 朝ごはん

私たちはtaking photos early in the morning in our hotel room. We are ready for another day of intensive travelling! :)

Our 朝ごはんの便と. The salmon is 美味い.

After breakfast. Taking a stroll outside the hotel. :)

15th October 2009 – おみちょ大好き

This Omicho Market. I love this place. It is clean and do not stink. There are also alot of fresh seafood.

The big big crabs! So fresh!

I bought this! It is preserved black seaweed. Nice for eating with porridge or soup. ^.^

Fresh scallops! I wish I could eat this there and there. Lol.

The multi flavoured and coloured おにぎり! I bought one too!

I bought a box of fresh sushi! The fish are so fresh and sweet. The rice is very nice too!

The famous grapes. It tasted like red wine. 本とに甘い!
